Elepuukahonua was a High Chief of the island of Oahu in ancient Hawaii. He ruled over Oahu in ancient times and is mentioned in chants and legends.

His father was the chief Kumuhonua of Oahu, the son of the chief Mulielealii of the Maweke line, the Maweke magician from Tahiti.

His mothers name is unknown.

After Kumuhonua died Elepuukahonua succeeded him as monarch of Oahu. It seems that this happened because he was the eldest son of his father because he had three brothers.

At some point, the main Elepuukahonua married a woman named Hikilena whose parents are not known today. She bore him a son, Kahokupohakano who begat with his wife in Hawaii, United States of America second son, Nawele, who later became Governor of Oahu.
